The Market On Granada

Located in the Historic District of St Augustine Florida, this emporium type store caters to both locals and visitors all within an Art Gallery ambience. One of our focuses is to support and showcase local artists, both visual and culinary.

Samples of local products are available to taste and local artwork adorns our walls and is for sale. Basic staples such as bread(local bakery), dairy, pharmacy, personal hygiene items, sundries, imported and domestic cheeses and beer/wine, pate’, fresh fruit and gourmet products(see specialties page) are available.

Based on our experience as local Innkeepers for 20 years, we have stocked The Market with products that former house guests were requiring. We are within easy walking or biking distance from downtown Inns and hotels.

Open daily 10am-6pm, 8 pm Friday&Saturday, closed Mondays.

Featured in The Market on Granada you’ll discover a diverse selection of domestic and imported boutique wines (not available in grocery stores) reasonally priced between $10.00-$20.00. Casual daily wine tastings and cheese pairings are conducted from Noon to closing time. Cost is $5.00 per person which includes three tastings of wine and cheese and a souvenir glass. Tastings vary from regions and countries monthly. Please call or email us for featured wines. Special wine tasting events are also planned in the future.

Create your own picnic lunch on our outside deck or location of your choice. Select from our variety of cheeses, pate’, salami/sausage, fruit and gourmet items. Enjoy with a fresh french baguette and a bottle of wine. We have the perfect selection of items for that romantic picnic.

St Augustine Florida has a long history as an active art community. At The Market on Granada we support our local artists by featuring their work for sale. Photography, Ceramic Garden Art, Expressionistic Oils and Acrylics, Gyotaku Prints, Original Watercolors as well as local authors adorn The Market.

We also participate on First Friday Art Walk, a monthly evening event celebrating our local St Augustine Artists. One of our artists is featured each month or perhaps one of the authors will be on hand to meet guests and sign books.

Nestled amongst the staple and convenience items in The Market on Granada you’ll find specialty items such as imported and domestic cheeses, pate’s, salami, sausage, gourmet items which include artichoke hearts, stuffed olives, hearts of palm, hummus, pesto, mushrooms, eggplant componata, bruscetta toppings, sun dried tomatoes, Haagan Daz Ice Cream and Island Way Sorbets.

Locally made St Augustine products featured are Claudes Chocolates, Fudge by The Fudge Lady, local honey, Dat’l Pepper Jams and sauces, Marinades, Salad Dressings and Chocolate Covered Frozen Bananas. The inventory is continually changing and growing. We are always on the look out for more local products.
